I’m a Colombian coleopterist with a passion for collections, beetle morphology, taxonomy, systematics, and the Neotropical region. Most of my research has focused on broad-nosed weevils (Curculionidae: Entiminae), but currently, as a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Kansas, I study water scavenger beetles (Hydrophilidae) in the subfamily Acidocerinae. I have been one of the members in charge of curating the Society’s social media accounts since November 2017. Currently, I'm a student councilor of The Coleopterists Society.
